Helen Thach
Lead Compositing Artist
Prior to joining the Optix team as a 3D Artist in May of 2008, Helen spent time in the automotive industry designing prototype truck bodies while studying Mechanical Engineering at the University of Toronto. In 2007, Helen returned to school and graduated from the Game Design and Development program at Centennial College. Helen has since been a passionate contributor to the Optix team across a variety of projects and looks forward to her career with Optix.
Outside of her role at Optix, Helen contributes to the growth and development of both artistic and technical talent as a teaching assistant at Centennial College. Her passions include traveling, photography and food. In 2008, Helen was a member of the production team Creative Meat, which was awarded first place at the summer 2008 Toronto Film Challenge.
